The Best Bialy Sandwich Ever


I love a good Bialy. When they’re fresh they’re delicious and crispy and taste so good you would think they are bad!

But due to the thin nature of a bialy the calories could be half the calories of a bagel…which makes me enjoy the whole thing!

The Best Bialy Sandwich Ever

Serves 1



1 everything or plain bialy, lightly toasted

1 tbsp whipped cream cheese

1 egg and 1 egg white

cooking spray

sliced tomato

Arugula mixed with a small amount of oil, kosher salt and pepper


In an omelet pan coated with cooking spray on medium heat add one egg and one egg white and fry it for a couple of minutes. Reduce to low and place a pan cover on top for two minutes.

Spread cream cheese on the bialy then add the arugula and tomato. Add egg to the other side of the bialy. 

Press down on the sandwich and cut in half. Egg may be slightly runny but that’s what it’s all about!
